The University of Michigan’s College of Literature, Science, and the Arts (LSA) honors distinguished professors and authors through a series of thought-provoking public lectures that highlight excellence in research, teaching, and service. To promote these events, I collaborated closely with each lecturer—meeting with them to understand their research, passion, and the heart of their work. Translating complex and often abstract ideas into engaging visual narratives, I created custom poster designs that thoughtfully reflected the subject matter and appealed to the intended audience. Each piece often required bespoke illustrations, typography, and imagery to ensure the design not only captured the essence of the lecture, but also resonated with—and delighted—the professor behind it.
