The Opportunity Hub within the University of Michigan’s College of Literature, Science, and the Arts launched as a new initiative focused on supporting students through mentorship, coaching, internships, scholarships, and career development resources. As the program’s broader brand identity was still taking shape, there was an immediate need for promotional materials that could clearly communicate its mission while building recognition and connection with students.

To help establish a relatable and memorable visual voice, I designed a custom typeface specifically for student-facing communications. The goal was to create lettering that felt approachable, handcrafted, and human, while remaining highly legible across a wide range of applications, from event posters and digital graphics to smaller promotional pieces.
