MORE INFO —
Since 2006, I’ve served as creative director for the film Wake Up, a true-story-based narrative exploring sex trafficking and the foster care system. Working alongside director and producer Janet Craig, I’ve led all visual design efforts—from the original logo and website to print and digital collateral, promotional materials, swag, and on-screen graphics. As the film gained momentum and reached global audiences, the design work evolved to support its mission: raising awareness and directing proceeds to nonprofits on the frontlines of combating trafficking.
I developed brand guidelines that were shared with various partners involved with the film, such as producers, promoters and distributors.
The film was part of a number of independent film festivals and special screenings across the country in which I designed a series of promotional graphics for print and for social media. I combined impactful still images with branded elements to help tell the story of the film and bring people to visit the Wake Up website which I also created.
